1855 July 30th Mill destroyed by fire.

1860 - 1872 James Whittaker.

1872 William Heaton.

1884 Robert Whittaker.

1900 William Heaton also at Lostock Junction Mills.

1925 William Heaton and Sons Ltd also at Lostock Junction Mills.

1950 William Heaton and Sons Ltd (Crosses and Heatons Ltd).

1969 Closed.

1970 Tons of masonry crashed into a road today as part of the 50ft mill wall collapsed in gale force winds. It swayed crazily for several seconds before falling. Police had earlier sealed off the area after a danger warning.

1970 Demolished.

1985 Redeveloped as a Public House (Jolly Miller).

2016 McDonalds.
